Fees
My fees are £57 per hour. This is inclusive of all materials and planning, and up to 40 minutes travel time.
Fees are payable after each session, by cash or cheque. Reductions are available if you wish to pay for a course of therapy in advance. Charges may apply if sessions are cancelled at short notice.
Location
Therapy takes place at the location of your choice. This could be at my base in Trentham, at your home, or in hospital.
Will having independent speech and language therapy affect my NHS therapy?
No. You can choose to pay privately for therapy whilst waiting for an NHS appointment, after NHS treatment has finished or at the same time. Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) guidelines endorse collaborative practice and I am happy to work with your NHS therapist, if you would like me to, so that you get the best from all your therapy. Sometimes there is no advantage to paying for private therapy as well as having therapy on the NHS. If I think this is the case for you, I will tell you.
